According to our By-Laws the Purposes of our organization are as follows:
Provide proper maintenance of lakes, entrances and any other common areas that may be appropriate. This includes, but is not limited to, all lakes that are not on the golf course and all common areas that are not part of the clubhouse or golf course.
Provide appropriate security service at front entrance gate and any other entrances deemed appropriate along with phone and utility expenses for the guard houses.
Support the Architectural Control Committee whereby these two groups work in harmony.
Speak as one powerful voice on issues impacting the Association Membership.
Prepare a strong and consistent Code Enforcement program to ensure that neighborhood standards are met.
Promote anything which may help to maintain and enhance the Association Members’ Property values.
Supply a resource to obtain information on local government involvement with an impact on Pelican Point.
Provide funds to Entergy for the monthly street light operation and maintenance until the Ascension Parish government assumes this responsibility.
Provide Liability insurance for all common areas as well as an Errors and Omissions Policy for the Board of Directors and Architectural Control Committee Members.
